Europe!

by Stephanie
So it is official. Danny and I are going to Europe in September! We now have all of our plane tickets made.

irst we fly into Amsterdam and stay there for four or five days. Then we fly to Vienna and stay for about three days. Then we take the train from Vienna to Prague and stay there for about four or five days. Then I go back to Amsterdam and fly home the next day so I can get ready to start culinary school, while Danny flies to Italy to stay with some family friends for two weeks.

Yay!!!

Now comes the hard part of trying to pick what to go do in each place. I always want to see everything and I hate having to pick and choose lol.

The End

i don't know how to remedy this, but i am getting worse and worse at calling people :(

letter-writing maybe? i don't know, i just seem to avoid my phone at all costs by accident (it's dead, it's at home, it's in my jeans in the hamper, it's on silent) .

right now, it's dead, and where's my charger?!!

(have you ever seen the huggies wipes commercial with the sad rubber ducky? if you have not my analogy fails, but i bet my phone feels a bit like that ducky.)

you & danny! europe! how fantastic. how fun & relaxing! i hope you live it up and have romantic dinners and get lost somewhere (safe) and have funny language barrier moments. and cheese. eat the cheese.

well, i'm halfway into it now, might as well make this a letter--
i've no more job. it was horrible what they did to me, but i'm over it and moving on. i worked without pay for a week, haha. anyhow,

it gave me time to think about what i want to do, whether i wanted to keep working my way up the ladder, etc...and i decided i really wanted to go back to school.

so in a crazy last-minute begging-give-the-registrar lady homemade jam (i made strawberry guava jam!) kind of way, I am taking grad classes at UH. I even applied and got into a program in Maternal Child Health where they pay for 17 specific credits that can help me on the way to a masters.

the idea is to work part time, go to school, boost my ug gpa, take the gre, and get into PSU or OHSU for a Master's in Public Health.

There is also this MFA program in Creative Writing at Seattle Pacific University that I keep looking at. They only meet during summers and winters--so hypothetically I could do both. Crazy, but possible.

So I just thought you should know that hopefully we will be neighbors again someday. Are you thinking about coming back to Portland? want to babysit my little kids someday? you can feed them gourmet sugary treats and send them back home to me, lol.

hey i would loooove to hear from you. omg so many changes in your life! how is it going????

email me at h dot andermann at gmail dot com! i think that would probably work best.

still love you mucho!
hearts,
h
